We Believe :: 9/20/26 :: Billy Waters

Welcome to Wellspring Church!

What keeps us anchored when life feels dark, turbulent, or confusing? In this message, Billy Waters begins a series on the Nicene Creed, showing how this historic confession serves as a trustworthy guide because it is firmly anchored in Scripture.

The Creed begins by declaring belief in one God—the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. God alone is sovereign and sufficient. Through Jesus, believers are welcomed into God’s family and given intimate access to the Almighty as their loving Father.

📖 Key Themes in This Message:
🔹 Why the Nicene Creed must remain anchored in Scripture
🔹 What it means to believe in one sovereign and sufficient God
🔹 The intimacy and power of knowing God as Father Almighty
🔹 How creation reveals God’s goodness, purpose, and design
🔹 Holding firmly to truth while creating space for honesty and grace

God created all things good and made humanity to glorify Him. Although sin has distorted His creation, Jesus offers forgiveness, freedom, and new life. Whether we are rejoicing, wrestling with doubt, or needing to repent, the church holds the rope together as we trust in the God who is more than enough.
