Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. Program Description

Wellspring Anglican Church's messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions, share church and ministry information, and provide support and pastoral care to our members, visitors, and volunteers. Messages are sent one-to-one by a staff member or ministry leader — for example, replying to a question, confirming a meeting, following up after a visit, or coordinating a volunteer schedule. We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages, and we do not send mass text blasts.

2. SMS Consent

By opting in, you agree to receive text messages about church events, service updates, volunteer coordination, ministry-related announcements, pastoral care follow-up, and customer support from Wellspring Anglican Church. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP to any message or call (303) 789-2878.

3. SMS Message Types

You may receive text messages about church events, service updates, volunteer coordination, and ministry-related announcements. Specifically, the messages you may receive include:

  • Customer support messages — replies and follow-up when you contact us with a question or request.

  • Church events and service updates — information, confirmations, and changes related to services, classes, groups, and events you are part of or have asked about.

  • Volunteer coordination — scheduling, reminders, confirmations, and changes for volunteer and ministry team commitments.

  • Ministry-related announcements — information related to the ministries you participate in.

  • Pastoral care messages — one-to-one follow-up from a staff member or ministry leader in response to a request or conversation.

You will not receive marketing, promotional, or advertising messages from us.

4. How You Opt In

We text only individuals who have given us their mobile number and consented to receive text messages from us, or who have texted us first. Consent is collected when you provide your mobile number on a connection card, a form on our website, an event or ministry registration, or in person with a staff member or ministry leader, and agree to receive text messages.

We do not purchase contact lists, and we do not add phone numbers to our messaging system that we obtained from third parties. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, donation, membership, or participation in church activities.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

You may also opt out by calling (303) 789-2878 or emailing info@wellspringenglewood.com.

6. Help Instructions

For help, reply HELP to any message or call (303) 789-2878. You may also contact us at info@wellspringenglewood.com.

7. Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Rates and Frequency

Message frequency varies and will depend on communication needs. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

9. Supported Carriers and Devices

The messaging program is available on most major wireless carriers and requires a mobile device capable of sending and receiving SMS messages. Carrier support and message delivery are not guaranteed.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued participation in the messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Privacy

If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our Privacy Policy contained in the rest of this page.
