Panel 4 - Parable of The Pearl of Great Price - Matt. 14:45 - 46

Displayed in this panel is a scale with one large pearl outweighing many other valuables. This is in reference to the parable of the pearl of great price. In this parable a man sells everything to acquire this pearl. This pearl represents the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom is of great value and is worth giving up everything for.

Panel 7 - Parable of the Lilies of the Field - Luke 12:27 - 28

This panel displays red lilies. These flowers allude to the parable of the Lilies of the field. In this parable Jesus encourages us not to worry and instead rely upon him. In the Kingdom we must depend on Jesus, he will care for us just like he cares for the Lilies of the field.

Panel 9 - Parable of the Ten Virgins - Matt. 25:1 - 13

On this panel five lit lamps and two unlit lamps are displayed. The unlit lamps are fading into the bottom of the panel. This panel refers to the Parable of the Ten Virgins. In this parable ten virgins await the coming of the bridegroom. Five of these virgins purchased enough oil, while the other five did not. In the end the five virgins who did not buy enough oil are left behind. Jesus is coming again and we know not when. We must be ready now.
