If you feel lead to help others grow in faith and connection, leading a group could be your next step. Group Leaders are people who don’t have it all together but have a heart to help others follow Jesus. If you're interested in learning more about group leadership, fill out the interest form. We'll walk with you every step of the way through training, support, and encouragement.

Learn More About Groups at Wellspring

A Discipleship Group is a small group of people who are committed to walking in Christ, with one another, for the sake of others. The group journeys with one another for intentional relational discipleship.

We invite congregants to attend the Explore Discipleship Class, get paired with a Discipleship Group leader, and join a group that way. This on-ramp happens three times a year: Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer.

Groups can last anywhere from 12 weeks to years! One value our groups hold is making “room for one more.” As groups grow, when they’re ready, we invite them to multiply to make room for more people to join!

Groups meet either once a week or every other week.

Groups usually meet in the homes of people in the group! Some leaders get creative and meet in different public places like local parks, local restaurants, or coffee shops.

Explore Discipleship is a one-time class that, together, asks: What is a disciple at Wellspring Church? We’ll explore how discipleship happens, what formation in community looks like, and how Discipleship Groups help us practice the way of Jesus together.
