We Believe :: 10/4/26 :: Billy Waters

Welcome to Wellspring Church!

What if the place that feels like a dead end could become the beginning of new life? In this message, Pastor Billy Waters continues our “We Believe” series, exploring how Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and ascension awaken us to the hope and power of the gospel.

With Scripture as our map and the Nicene Creed as a well-worn trail, we discover what Jesus has done for us and for our salvation. He came to serve, gave his life for our sins, rose to bring us new life, and ascended to reign over all things. Through the Holy Spirit, he empowers us to live out these truths today.

📖 Key Themes in This Message:
🔹 Following Jesus by using our influence and resources to serve others
🔹 Receiving forgiveness and finding our identity in Jesus’ scars
🔹 Discovering how the resurrection turns despair, doubt, and failure into renewed hope
🔹 Trusting Jesus’ reign and responding to the Holy Spirit’s power

Knowing these truths invites a response. Because Jesus lives, our past does not have the final word. Just as he restored Mary’s joy, Thomas’s faith, and Peter’s calling, he invites us to surrender our hearts and step into a life of faith, service, and hope.
