We Believe :: 10/11/26 :: Billy Waters

Welcome to Wellspring Church!

How does God’s judgment reveal His love? In this message, Pastor Billy Waters continues our “We Believe” series through the Nicene Creed, exploring why Christ’s return to judge the living and the dead gives us hope, strengthens our faith, and reveals the depth of His mercy.

Looking at Revelation 20, we see that God’s final judgment brings an end to evil and prepares the way for a new heaven and a new earth. This promise helps us remain faithful through suffering and love others amid injustice, trusting that Jesus will make all things right.

📖 Key Themes in This Message:
🔹 Why judgment is essential to understanding God’s justice and love
🔹 How Christ’s return gives us hope to live faithfully today
🔹 The difference between outward religion and truly knowing Jesus
🔹 How repentance and faith in Christ bring forgiveness and assurance

The books record our deeds, but the Book of Life holds the names of those who belong to Jesus. Our good works cannot erase our sin, yet through His sacrifice on the cross, Jesus offers forgiveness. We are invited to examine our hearts, turn to Him, and live with confidence in His grace as we await His return.
