Welcome to Wellspring Church!
Where do we find the connection our souls long for? In this message, Pastor Billy Waters explores how baptism points to our adoption into God’s everlasting family, giving us a new identity, deep belonging, and hope that reaches beyond loneliness.
Continuing our series on the Nicene Creed, we consider what it means to believe in “one baptism.” Through faith in Jesus, we become children of God, and baptism is the outward sign of our union with Christ. We belong to a family where our differences remain, but the barriers between us give way to reconciliation and unity.
📖 Key Themes in This Message:
🔹 How faith in Jesus brings us into the family of God
🔹 The redemption, intimacy, and inheritance we receive through adoption
🔹 Living with the confidence of a beloved child instead of striving for acceptance
🔹 Caring for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ
On Baptism Sunday and All Saints Day, we celebrate our place among God’s people across generations. Our Father has redeemed us through Jesus, given us his Spirit, and welcomed us into a lasting inheritance. As we receive that love, we are called to support one another, uphold those being baptized, and live as the family we have become.
