Wellspring Student Ministry

Mission Statement:
It is our mission to disciple students towards a life long relationship with Jesus and the Church that engages their head, heart and hands.

Vision Statement:
To see the glory of God’s Kingdom amidst a broken world.

Youth Pillars:

RELATIONAL BELONGING

  • Youth Group (7th–12th Grade)
Meets Sundays during the school year from 12:30–2:30pm. Students share meals, deepen friendships and explore faith together.

  • Mentoring Relationships
Adults walk alongside students, building trust and encouraging them to listen to the Holy Spirit.

  • Sunday School (5th–6th Grade)
A space designed for preteens to ask big questions and connect with caring leaders.

INTEGRATION IN THE CHURCH

  • Intergenerational Worship on Sundays
Students worship alongside the whole church family.

  • Serving in the Sunday Service
Students help with readings, tech, greeting and more.

  • Serving in The Well
Once a month, students help prepare food.

  • Collaborating with Young Adults
Shared worship nights create intergenerational connection.

STUDENT EMPOWERMENT

  • Serving in the Sunday Service

  • Building mentoring relationships to empower students to follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

  • Sunday School: 5th-6th

  • Serving at Camp Barnabas: (Barnabas phrases camp as a place that “invites people with disabilities and chronic illnesses to experience a Christian summer camp built with them in mind. Our goal is to make sure everyone has the best week of their lives.” Our students then come alongside the campers to provide amazing & memorable experiences!)
