Gospel Friendship Commitment
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:23-25
Gospel Friendships consist of 2-4 people and are a powerful process for our growth in Christ as we desire to go deeper in our journey as disciples of Jesus together. We commit to meet regularly (weekly or twice a month) to share in each other’s joys, sorrows, hopes, and fears—seeking to listen for, and point each other to, the voice of Jesus (the Gospel). We commit to reading God’s Word and listening for His voice, we will focus on growing in our spiritual maturity, and we will pray for one another and for those who are not yet followers of Jesus. Once our group of two or three people reaches four people, we hope to multiply and form two groups so that others may come to know Christ and become established in the faith.
